About Me.
Jeanmarie Weatherhead is a multimedia artist based T’karonto, originally from Guatemala. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design with a BFA in Drawing & Painting, Jeanmarie has spent the past two years deeply exploring her artistic practice. Her work centers on the urgent themes of natural disasters, climate change, and the social and cultural values that shape our world today. Through her art, she vividly expresses personal experiences and delves into the complexities of mental health, political agency, and gender roles in our contemporary society.
